All auditioning artists must complete the interest form prior to audition date and must be physically present at at least 1 of the audition dates. For any outstanding exceptions to this, please note on your form and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

Please wear dance attire and bring water. Auditioning dancers will participate in warm-up, across the floor technique exercises, improvisation, and learn a 1-2min phrase/combo in the style of contemporary that will be performed in groups.

Unbound Dance Company is holding auditions for our upcoming show in August of 2026. Auditions are open to dancers ages 18 and up of all genres + backgrounds.

Our Fall 2026 show will be held in the Columbia, SC area in late August (we are anticipating the weekend of August 22nd OR August 29th). All dancers must be available for all choreography, training, and rehearsal dates between April and end of August. Rehearsal dates and times often depend on each choreographer and could be mid-day/mid-week and/or weekends.

*Please note that being a part of Unbound Dance Company in the past does not guarantee your place in the upcoming or future shows.*

 It is of the utmost importance to us that all dancers who are a part of Unbound Dance Company can commit to ALL required dates and rehearsals, as they are mandatory. 

CHOREOGRAPHY/REHEARSAL DATES + SHOW WEEK
-Required choreography dates will depend on casting per piece
-All rehearsals. are mandatory for full cast

-Your presence is required at all. show week rehearsals including but not limited to:

a. Tech Rehearsal (usually Thursday prior to show 3:30-10pm*)

b. Rehearsals week of (you will have these dates/times well in advance)

c. Shows (~7pm Friday + Saturday) will require that you report at or before call time of ~3pm
