Allie Elsey was born and raised in Irmo, South Carolina and has been dancing since the age of 2, finding a love for the artform right away. She has had the pleasure of dancing at The Southern Strutt for 16 years and training under the guidance of the most amazing faculty and staff. She has worked with some of the most notable choreographers in today's industry, such as Tyce Diorio, Brooke Pierotti, Shannon Mather, and more. She now has the honor of teaching and assisting at The Southern Strutt, teaching ages 3-15 and hoping to share her love of dance with the next generation. In high school, Allie was also a member of the Dutch Fork High School Varsity Dazzlers and was inducted into the National Honors Society of Dance Arts. Allie now attends the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks!) where she serves as the dance chairwoman for her sorority, Gamma Phi Beta and is pursuing a degree in Mass Communications with a minor in Sports and Entertainment management. Allie has also been pursuing choreography/teaching opportunities for local schools and studios. Unbound has given Allie an outlet to continue dancing while still attending college, and she is so thankful to be a part of such an amazing group of dancers and people for her second professional show with them.
