Ashley began dancing at the age of 2 in Chicago, Illinois. Years later, she moved to Mooresville, North Carolina, where she danced as a company member at the Academy of Dance and Fine Arts. At ADFA, she competed nationally and furthered her training as an interdisciplinary dancer. Her training also included being a member of Jason Janas’ “Co.mitt’ed”, Chloe Arnold’s “Soul Talk”, and representing the United States as a member of the “American Tap Company” while competing in Reisa, Germany at the IDO National Tap Dance Championships. Ashley has had the pleasure of training with professionals such as Courtney Dodson, Sarah Reich, Melissa “MJ” Jackson, Jeremy Arnold, and more. Ashley enjoys teaching all ages, having taught at studios such as Center Stage Performing Arts Dance Center, Dancer’s Edge, and The Academy of Dance and Fine Arts. Ashley currently resides in New York City as a student in the Marymount Manhattan College dance program. She is a member of Nick Dinicolangelo’s “Hands Down Tap Project,” Caroline-Lewis Jones’ “Unbound Dance Company,” and tours with Radix Dance Convention as an assistant to Jason Janas.
