Carly Shraga began dancing at the age of two in Mooresville, North Carolina. She trained at The Academy of Dance and Fine Arts where she was a dedicated company member for fifteen years leading to opportunities for her work with many talented guest choreographers and teachers in multiple styles. This versatility helped shape Carly into the diversely talented and passionate dancer she continues to be. Her main passions are in contemporary and jazz but she has training in tap, hip-hop, lyrical, and ballet. Some of the professional choreographers Carly has had the pleasure of training with and performing for include, Courtney Dodson, Cara Goodwin, Tyne Stecklein, Melissa "MJ" Jackson, Teddy Forance, and more. Carly has been continuing her dance training and career as a Dance Major at Marymount Manhattan College. Additionally, she danced with Unbound Dance Company as a company member for their show, “(in)finite".
