IAN KELL

Ian Kell was born in Chicago, Illinois, and grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of South Carolina, where he minored in dance and received collegiate and professional training in contemporary, hip-hop, ballet, modern, and jazz styles. Ian is the Founder of CREATIAN, a creative direction and community-building platform centered on the collaboration between creatives in all artistic mediums. He has danced professionally in Columbia since 2022 as a company member with Unbound Dance Company, under the direction of Caroline Lewis-Jones and Morgan Holton, and as a guest artist for Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet. Ian received additional training at the American Dance Festival Summer Intensive, where he trained with Monique Haley and Brenna Monroe-Cook, as well as performed and collaborated in works with Jenna Riegal and Xián Martinez. He most recently trained with David Dorfman Dance at their Emerging Artist Winter Intensive.
