Janna Hester is originally from Columbia, South Carolina and has been dancing since the age of 3. She received her training from Palmetto Performing Arts, where she was gifted many opportunities and leadership roles, as well as a home that fostered her love for dance. During her time as a competitive dancer, Janna was awarded several scholarships from many notable conventions, including a scholarship to attend the Commercial Dance Program at Hussian College in Los Angeles, California. Janna was also awarded her studio's 'Dancer of The Year' title in 2019-2020. Janna is a sophomore at Clemson University, where she continues to dance and train regularly at Upstate Carolina Dance Center and Shock Dance Center. Janna continues spreading her love for dance through teaching both Jazz Co. and recreational classes at Upstate Carolina Dance Center (2022-Present). Janna also danced as a member of Unbound Dance Company in 2022, under the direction of Caroline-Lewis Jones and Morgan Holton.
