Leah Brinkley Evans started dancing at the age of 3 and trained at The Southern Strutt, in Irmo, SC for 14 years. After graduating, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career in dance and was represented by MSA talent agency. She also performed in “Carnival” choreographers showcase, was back up dancer for artist Stacia Live in Concert and was a body double for Scarlet Johansen in a National Calvin Klein commercial. Leah was also a dancer on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Leah eventually moved back to South Carolina to pursue her love for teaching and choreography. She loves teaching all styles of dance but has a true love for JAZZ. She has won numerous choreography awards but was recognized for “Best Jazz Performance” at the Industry Dance Awards in 2015 and also won “Best Jazz Performance” at the 2018 Dance Awards. Leah enjoys traveling and teaching dancers of all ages, she has a passion for inspiring her students through the art of dance and helping them to reach their dreams in and outside of the classroom. Leah loves spending time with her husband Jared and their three beautiful girls, Brinley (7), Marley (5) and Sutton (1). Leah is excited to be back on the stage again as a dancer and choreographer with Unbound, in their show “(in)finite”.
