Mary Mullen Sandifer is originally from Columbia, South Carolina. She began dancing at the age of 3 at Palmetto Performing Arts under the direction of Kristi Beers where she trained for 15 years. During her time at Palmetto Performing Arts, she took on many leadership roles and learned from several teachers. Mary Mullen has found joy in teaching the younger students at her home studio. She has trained in all styles of dance and gravitates most towards contemporary. Last fall, Mary Mullen began dancing at the collegiate level with the College of Charleston Cougarettes. The team competed at UDA finals in Orlando, Florida and finished top ten in the nation in both hiphop and jazz out of 30+ teams. She performed with Unbound Dance Company for the first time during her junior year of high school and has since participated in the two most recent shows.
