Morgan Holton is a native of Columbia, SC. She grew up dancing competitively at the Southern Strutt where she trained for 15 years under the direction of Nancy Giles. In 2016, she graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communications and went on to tour with Adrenaline, Revive, and National Dance Honors as graphic designer and brand manager from 2016-2019. She is grateful for the opportunities she has had to work and train with many renowned choreographers throughout her career.
Morgan began her teaching career at Palmetto Performing Arts under the direction of Kristi Beers in 2014. Over the last 8 years, she has won various awards for her choreography; however, her greatest accomplishment to date has been not only training her students to be great dancers, but also inspiring them to be great people. Morgan currently resides in Savannah, GA where she teaches, choreographs, and serves as Company Assistant at Gretchen Greene School of Dance. As an instructor + choreographer primarily at PPA and GGSOD, she is passionate about teaching dancers of all ages.
Morgan first began dancing with Unbound in 2012 and most recently performed in Unbound's show, "ONE" in 2021. Her love for and involvement with Unbound has continued to grow over the years. She is now entering role as co-director, where she actively participates in all aspects of the company including performing, choreographing, graphic design, and marketing. Morgan is grateful and excited to now serve as co-director alongside one of her greatest friends and mentors.
