Olivia Burdick started dancing at the age of 2 and has spent the last 18 years training, performing and competing in all styles of dance. She is from Sumter, South Carolina where she teaches and choreographs for her home studio, Dreamworks Dance Academy. Olivia enjoys all forms of dancing but her favorites are tap and contemporary. In high school, she won multiple awards and scholarships from organizations such as the Palmetto Tap Intensive, the Broadway Dance Center, DanceMakers, and Revel. Her sophomore year, she was accepted into the Summer Ballet Program at the South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities where she furthered her ballet, pointe, and modern training. In 2019, Olivia was named the Elite Legend of Southeast Showdown and just completed her third year as their stage manager. Although she is in pursuit of a nursing degree, she holds her love of dance close to her heart and hopes to always keep it in her life. Olivia is so thankful for every opportunity she has been given and she hopes that everyone who helped to make her the woman she is today is proud of her.
