RAIN HICKS

Rain Hicks has been a dedicated competitive dancer and performer for 17 years, beginning her journey at the age of five at Miss Libby’s School of Dance in Sumter, South Carolina. Her passion for movement led her to the University of South Carolina-Columbia, where she is pursuing a degree in Dance Performance and Choreography. As a versatile dancer and instructor, Rain specializes in contemporary, lyrical, modern, jazz, musical theater, hip hop, tap, and ballet, sharing her expertise with students of all ages. In 2023, she was a member of Unbound Dance Company, further expanding her professional experience. Throughout her time at USC, she has had the honor of performing in a variety of works, including Janis Brenner’s "Lost, Found, Lost", Jennifer Deckert’s "Doppler Effect", Complexions Dance Company's "Momento Mágico" (USC Dancer), Colin Connor’s "Corvidae", Olivia Waldrop’s "Luna", and Chris Aldeguer’s "Verses & Vibes". With a deep love for the art of dance, Rain strives to inspire and mentor aspiring dancers, fostering their growth and creativity both in the studio and on stage.
