TJ Warren

 TJ Warren was born in Columbia, SC, and raised in Camden, SC, where he first developed a passion for dance and theater. His passion led him to train at the Freed School of Performing Arts in Sumter, SC, where he studied until graduating from high school in May 2021. He is currently a senior at the University of South Carolina, pursuing a degree in Dance Performance with a cognate in Education. In 2023, he was also a company member of Unbound Dance Company in Columbia, SC, under the direction of Caroline Lewis-Jones and Morgan Holton. Warren has trained at several prestigious intensives, including New Dialect, where he studied with Yin Yue, Sidra Bell, and Jesse Zarrit. He attended the American Dance Festival Summer Intensive in, working with Joy Davis, Brenna Monroe-Cook, Verena Pircher, and collaborating with Jenna Riegel in both performances and creative works. Additionally, he trained with David Dorfman Dance at their Emerging Artist Winter Intensive collaborating will fellow artist and the company members to create a work. Warren aspires to continue spreading joy and conveying important messages through dance and choreography.
