unbound dance company

Chandler was born and raised in West Columbia, SC where he danced at The Southern Strutt in Irmo, SC for 15 years under the direction of Nancy Giles. While competing there, he worked with many choreographers that are currently working in the industry. He attended the University of Alabama for 3 years before taking a hiatus to work full time as a choreographer in Fall 2020. While at Alabama, he choreographed/performed in nine shows at the University and various other locations in Alabama. He also teaches Various styles like Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Acro and Technique at Birmingham Dance Theatre in Hoover, AL. He is a 2nd year member of the South Carolina based company “UnBound” directed by Caroline Lewis-Jones and Susan Dabney Hancock. Chandler has choreographed for multiple dance studios in the southeast as well as middle/high school, collegiate and professional dance teams. Chandler is also on faculty for Encore extreme as a teacher, and is a backstage manager for Encore DCS.
